* Lord Coe interview

Detail: The much loved and respected Dave Sunderland interviews Lord Coe about his athletics career. Coe is a 4 time Olympic medallist, including two 1500m golds in Moscow (1988) and Los Angeles (1984). During his career, he set 11 world records, 8 outdoors and 3 indoors, memorably setting 3 world records in 41 days in the summer of 1979. His first came in Oslo, Norway in the 800m running 1:42.33. The second world record was set over the mile (3:48.95) and he later set a new mark for the 1500m with a time of 3:32.03 in Zurich, Switzerland. He further lowered his world record in the 800m to 1:41.73 in 1981.

Detail: Following 15 years at the University of Glasgow, where he created the largest known DNA biobank from world-class athletes, he was appointed Professor of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Brighton. In these videos Yannis looks at the science behind endurance training, giving coaches more scope for what they could achieve with a sports science input.

* Orreco Keynote: Supporting the Elite (08.03.14)

Detail: Inspired by the teachings of Professor Craig Sharp, Orreco was established in 2009.
