Dan Pfaff Warm Up Protocol (Set A) Part 1
This video provides the viewer with a practical demonstration of all warm-up series exercises covered in Dan Pfaff's multi-disciplinary warm-ups. This particular warm-up covers Set A (Set B and C are simple variations). Set A is the most taxing on the system and many athletes would find this a workout in itself to begin with. As well as being an appropriate warm-up for the athlete, it provides the coach with a suitable movement screen on which to access various postural positions, contacts, injuries etc. allowing for appropriate track-side intervention prior to their session. All of Dan's athletes this summer used this warm-up and its variations during training and competition in the lead up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games including the likes of Greg Rutherford, Jonnie Peacock, Dwain Chambers and Steve Lewis to name but a few.
