Hello! 2 years ago I took Cypro a strong antibiotic as a preventative for bacteria infections in the rainforests of Peru I took it on 3 separate occasions whilst visiting my son.
They have a track in Iquitos so was training there too.
Both Achilles were affected and I am only just starting to run again.  I am an active coach and wanted to warn older athletes about this family of drugs AND to read the warnings.  I did not connect this with my injury for a long time and it is the only serious injury I have had for 30 years.
