An Interview with Lloyd Cowan MBE (Part 3)

A former athlete himself, Cowan specialised in the 110 and 400 metres hurdles. He was selected for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, he competed at the 1994 Commonwealth Games and won his last medal at the AAA nationals in 1999.

He retired from athletics at the age of 39 and now coaches a number of athletes, including Christine Ohuruogu, the former 400 metres Olympic, World and Commonwealth Champion.
