Endurance - From the Lab to the Track: Yannis Pitsiladis (part 3)

Following 15 years at the University of Glasgow, where he created the largest known DNA biobank from world-class athletes, he was appointed Professor of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Brighton. Here he is in the process of establishing state-of-the-art laboratories in human systems biology with special applications to sport and exercise science, sports medicine and sports nutrition.

In these videos Yannis looks at the science behind endurance training, giving coaches more scope for what they could achieve with a sports science input.
