Clarence Callender: Biomechanics Of Acceleration (Part 1)

Clarence Callender combined his passion for athletics with a military career. His talent and dedication resulted in a silver medal at the Seoul 1988 Olympics in the 4×100 metres relay. Clarence is Head Coach at Track Academy and is working with the elite squad. Coach Clarence also works with England Athletics, imparting his great knowledge on other coaches up and down the country.

    Really good and informative presentation. Anyway to get a copy of the slides used?

    I think you’d have to get in contact with Clarence for that. As far as i’m aware, we don’t have copies of them at uCoach.

    I coach kids track session for our running club. The video seesion for accleration is very informative. Can you give me basic instructions for setting up blocks for my event group kids. I also put my foundation athletes through the technical steps for crouch starts and standing starts it has really helped with co-ordination. thanks a miilion
