Dan Pfaff: A Video Analysis of A World and Olympic Champion Sprinter

In this video UKA's Dan Pfaff and Derek Evely discuss the benefits of using video analysis in the coaching of sprinters at all levels.

Pfaff's resume is littered with Olympic and World Champions, many of whom he took from developing athlete to world beater. Current coach to European Championships silver medallist Christian Malcolm amongst others, Pfaff is the National Performance Centre Director at Lee Valley in London and has coached over 70 athletes, including former Olympic champion and 100m World Record holder Donovan Bailey, to Olympic Games and World Championships.

Evely is the National Performance Centre Director at Loughborough and has coached athletes ranging from Tyler Christopher in the 400m to Gary Reed in the 800m to Dylan Armstrong and Sophie Hitchon in the hammer.

Just to point out that Apple I pads do not support Adobe flash. So cannot view your video clips. Any way they can be loaded in dual format so I can view them?

    Hi John,
As of September 2011 our new videos are now in MP4 format so they should be viewable on iPads.
    Regards,
    Tom

Is there anyway of making these available to coaches outside the UK?

I live in Ireland and can’t access the videos when I come back from the UK.

The information here is awesome so would love to be able to view it back home.
