Dr Barry Fudge Talks on Altitude Training For Endurance

Dr. Barry Fudge Talks about altitude training and the connection it has with world and Olympic champions in endurance events.

Dr. Fudge also talks about his role as a physiologist and talks in detail about the British athletics program, he explains how, why and when athletes can best use altitude and shows how an endurance program set up leading into the London Olympic games has grown and flourished.

Dr. Fudge is one of the world's top endurance running physiologists. Having worked extensively with Kenyan athletes during his Ph.D Dr. Fudge was then employed by Kenenisa Bekele as a consultant after the great Ethiopian athlete failed to finish at the 2007 World Cross Country Championships. Fudge became part of the support team that enabled Bekele to then capture the 10,000m Gold at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. In 2010 Dr. Fudge has worked as a physiologist for British Athletics and supported Mo Farah to prepare for the London 2012 Olympics.
