Vesteinn Hafsteinsson: Planning and Programming (Part 2)

Vesteinn Hafsteinsson presents during his visit to Loughborough, he explains how he got into coaching athletes from various geographical loocations and explains how this has moulded his training programme. He goes into why he has developed his programme around training camps before explaining in detail the various components of training he uses and how he varies them throughout the training year.

Vesteinn Hafsteinsson is a four time Olympian and internationally renowned throws coach specialising in the Discus and Shot. For almost a decade he has been the personal coach to Olympic Discus Champion Gerd Kanter and also coaches numerous international throwers from several different countries.
